Job summary

Farnell, an Avnet company, is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Subang Jaya, Malaysia to support the sales team with technical queries and architectural propositions for existing and prospective customers, including Arduino products.

You will build technical propositions, support customer meetings through the sales cycle, and create technical material to engage a technical audience across Farnell APAC. Collaborations with Arduino APAC and marketing are key.

Qualifications

• Provide technical support to customers using Arduino products where first line support may not have the answer.
• Train the first line technical support teams where necessary to answer future similar questions.
• Build deep technical knowledge bases on our products, FAQs, product collateral etc.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Marketing support: Support the sales team with technical queries and architectural propositions that arise from Farnell APAC.
• Support customer meetings throughout the entire sales process, from opportunity identification to post sales and maintenance.
• Create technical material that will help drive a technical audience to Farnell APAC, assisted by the marketing content team.
• Assist with project and technical collateral creation.
