Job summary

Wuhan FiberHome International (M) Sdn. Bhd. requires an engineer to prepare technical drawings, conduct site surveys, and develop network design solutions for fiber infrastructure projects in Malaysia.

You will coordinate with management, procurement, and clients while preparing BOQs and site reports. Travel to outstations for verification is expected. Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering or Telecommunications is required, with AutoCAD proficiency and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of fiber optic network concepts and infrastructure
• Knowledge of fiber materials, components, and their functions (cables, connectors, splitters, amplifiers, etc.)
• 1-3 years experience in infrastructure, construction, or telecommunications project planning
• Ability and willingness to travel outstation for site verification and inspections
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Valid driving license

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings and documents related to all planned, ongoing and completed site
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments, verify site conditions match design and TP specifications
• Develop network design solutions including FDC/FDP placement, route planning, and cable sizing/core count determination
• Identify and specify materials, components, and equipment required based on project requirements
• Coordinate with management, procurement, operations teams and clients on design accuracy and material for site compatibility
• Prepare project documentation and drawings including BOQs, site reports, and variance reports when design vs site conditions conflict
• Support deployment coordination with contractors and internal team
• Maintain project records and ensure compliance with company standards
