Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Diploma‑level engineer to support FG packaging and labeling operations onsite in Penang, Malaysia. You will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot system issues, and help with equipment setup while coordinating with production teams.

The successful candidate will work under the packaging team, ensure adherence to ICARE values, and contribute to continuous improvement in a 100% onsite role within a global lasers and engineered materials company.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent; 1–2 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work with packaging processes, labeling, and equipment

Education & Experience

• A diploma in Engineering or its equivalents with at least 1 or 2 years of relevant work experience in engineering works or packaging industry will be preferable (functional skills)

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving

• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
