Job summary

Farm Fresh Berhad is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support health and welfare management of livestock at our Johor Bahru facility. You will perform health checks, assist with treatments, vaccinations, and preventive care under the Veterinary Officer's guidance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Veterinary Science or related field, is passionate about animal health, and can work effectively in a farm environment with good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Veterinary Science, Animal Health, Animal Husbandry, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Passionate about animal health and livestock management.
• Able to work in a farm environment and handle animals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and welfare of livestock.
• Conduct routine health checks and identify sickness.
• Assist in administering treatments, vaccinations, and preventive care.
• Support veterinary procedures and animal handling.
• Maintain accurate records of health, treatments and mortality.
• Observe livestock for health concerns and report abnormalities.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of animal housing and treatment areas.
• Assist with biosecurity and disease control programmes.
• Handle and store veterinary medicines and equipment properly.
• Perform other duties as directed by Veterinary Officer or management.

Assist in administering treatments, vaccinations, medications, and preventive care as instructed.

Support veterinary procedures, animal handling, and disease prevention activities.

Maintain accurate records of animal health, treatments, mortality, and medication usage.

Monitor livestock behaviour and report abnormalities or health concerns.

Ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene of animal housing and treatment areas.

Assist with biosecurity, disease control, and farm health management programmes.

Ensure proper handling and storage of veterinary medicines and equipment.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Veterinary Officer or management.
