NCS Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer/Technician for Penang/Kulim.

The role involves performing basic failure analysis, inspection, and measurement of electrical units, using imaging and measurement equipment to detect abnormalities, and documenting results with computer systems. Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering or related field, basic electrical knowledge is a plus, and comfort with computers and extended screen time.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical field.
• Basic electrical/electronic knowledge is an advantage.
• Comfortable with computers, equipment and extended screen time.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic failure analysis, inspection, and measurement of electrical units.
• Operate imaging and measurement equipment to capture, magnify, and inspect electrical units for potential defects or abnormalities.
• Record and review measurement results and images using computer-based systems.
• Identify and document basic failure symptoms and elevate abnormal findings for further analysis.
• Handle high-volume units while meeting the required SLA.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Work closely with the team to achieve daily workload and operational targets.
