Job summary

NCS Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer/Technician for the Penang/Kulim area.

You will perform basic failure analysis, inspection, and measurement of electrical units, using imaging and measurement equipment to detect defects. You will record results and escalate abnormal findings while maintaining SLA and safety standards. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering or related technical field, basic electrical knowledge, and comfort with computers and extended

Qualifications

Basic electrical/electronic knowledge is an advantage.
Comfortable working with computers, equipment, and extended screen time.
Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Perform basic failure analysis, inspection, and measurement of electrical units.
Operate imaging and measurement equipment to capture, magnify, and inspect electrical units for potential defects or abnormalities.
Record and review measurement results and images using computer-based systems.
Identify and document basic failure symptoms and elevate abnormal findings for further analysis.
Handle high-volume units while meeting the required SLA.
Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.
Work closely with the team to achieve daily workload and operational targets.
