Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: inspect raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Documentation: maintain QC and production records.
• Hygiene oversight: monitor factory hygiene, pest control and staff practices.
• Check daily production schedule and ensure preparations are completed.
• Supervise production operations including mixing, cooking and packaging.
• Oversee end-to-end production process from raw materials to warehouse transfer.
• Ensure processes follow SOPs and final products meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with production leader to monitor overtime and costs.
• Assist with troubleshooting machinery and experimental works.

Job description

• Quality Monitoring: Conduct routine QC inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to ensure compliance with company specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate QC and production records
• Hygiene Oversight: Monitor factory hygiene & tidiness, pest control, and staff practices compliance on the production floor.
• To check the production schedule and ensure that all preparations for the daily production are carried out accordingly.
• To supervise and ensure all production operations are operating smoothly i.e. mixing (meat), cooking and packaging
• Overseeing production processes and directs an entire production operation (from raw material receiving, store keeping, production processes, packing until products transferred to warehouse)
• To ensure that the production process is running as per standard operating procedures ensuring that the final products meet the quality standards and customer specifications.
• Liaise with production leader to analyse and to monitor operator overtime cost and other production expenses.
• To cooperate with production manager and other departments in troubleshooting machineries and experimental works.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM with extensive experiences/ Certificate / Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in on site food production line is required for this position;
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Reliable, Able to work independently under minimum supervision and able to meet tight schedule.
• Knowledge of Safety and health regulations
