Job summary

Rubberex (M) Sdn. Berhad in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking a Factory Manager to lead multi-department factory operations. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while achieving targets in production, packing, quality, and delivery.

The candidate will oversee Engineering/Maintenance, Planning and Warehouse/Store, drive Lean and continuous improvement, and manage a large workforce with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial position.
• Proven experience managing overall factory operations across Production, Packing, QA, Engineering/Maintenance, Planning and Warehouse/Store.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall factory operations across Production, Packing, QA, Engineering/Maintenance, Planning and Warehouse/Store.
• Ensure the factory operates safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Achieve production, packing, quality, delivery, productivity, manpower and cost targets.
• Provide leadership to all operational teams.
• Optimize resources and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure the factory consistently meets the Company's business and operational objectives.
