Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled interpreter/ translator to support daily interactions between Mandarin-speaking supervisors, workers, management, and external partners at our factory. The role requires accurate translation across Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities include translating work instructions, coordinating daily production tasks, and supporting meetings with note-taking and action follow-ups.

Provide daily interpretation and translation support between Mandarin-speaking supervisors, local and foreign workers, management, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant parties.
Translate work instructions, messages, documents, and factory-related information accurately between Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
Assist supervisors in communicating work instructions, arrangements, and operational matters to factory workers.
Coordinate and follow up on daily factory and production-related matters.
Monitor work progress and provide timely updates to supervisors and management.
Report operational issues or concerns to the relevant supervisors or management in a clear and timely manner.
Liaise and follow up with suppliers, contractors, and other relevant parties on operational matters as required.
Attend meetings when required and assist with interpretation, note-taking, and follow-up on action items.
Prepare and maintain basic reports, records, documents, and administrative paperwork related to factory operations.
Provide general coordination and administrative support for day-to-day factory operations.
Assist with other operational and administrative tasks as required by management.
Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required, as the role involves daily communication and translation across these languages.
Previous working experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Experience in translation, factory coordination, administration, or a related role will be an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, workers, management, and external parties.
Responsible, organized, and able to follow up on assigned tasks independently.
Willing to learn and understand factory operations and production processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Able to manage multiple tasks and support day-to-day operational requirements.
