What you'll be doing?
- Production Oversight — Lead and manage day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and on schedule.
- Team Leadership — Supervise and mentor a production team of 25–30 personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance working culture.
- Process & Quality Management — Drive adherence to quality management systems including ISO and GMP standards, ensuring consistent product quality across all production processes.
- Production Planning — Develop and implement production plans and process flows to optimise capacity, resources, and operational throughput.
- Continuous Improvement — Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and champion initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Health, Safety & Compliance — Ensure the factory operates in full compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with senior management and other departments to align manufacturing output with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Reporting & Analysis — Monitor key performance indicators, prepare operational reports, and present findings to senior management to support informed decision-making.
Who are they looking for?
- Manufacturing Experience — A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, is required to be successful in this role.
- Educational Background — A Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related discipline provides the strong technical foundation needed for this role.
- Quality Systems Knowledge — Solid understanding of production planning, process flow, and quality management systems such as ISO or GMP is essential to maintaining the high standards of the facility.
- English Proficiency — Strong command of English is required for effective communication with management, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Mandarin Proficiency — Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required, as this is the primary language of communication with the production team and senior leadership within the organisation.
- Process Improvement Exposure (preferred) — Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as Kaizen or Six Sigma would be an added advantage, though not mandatory.
