Job summary

Wonderful Creamery (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production floor operations, optimize efficiency, and ensure quality targets are met.

You will supervise staff, control costs, and uphold safety and maintenance standards. • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial position
• Good knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality management systems
• Proven experience in managing production operations, manpower, production planning, productivity, and production costs
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Control production and maintenance costs in line with budget
• Ensure full workforce productivity and high product quality to meet customers' requirement through implementation of company's standards for processes, work methods, performance and measurement systems
• Responsible for cycle counts and physical inventory
• Resolve facility maintenance issues with appropriate personnel and report safety concerns
• Lead the FSSC team members
• Lead R&D team with new projects
• Lead, coach, and develop production personnel to achieve operational, quality, productivity, and safety objectives

Job description

Responsible for the production floor day to day operation, job allocation, work-force motivation, disciplinary matters, cost control and preventive maintenance of production, plant, machines and equipment. Responsible for the smooth running of the Company's operation to achieve the production volume, quality target and its overall performance objectives.

Key responsibilities
