Job summary

Intel in Malaysia (Kulim) is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Software Development Engineer to contribute to the creation and optimization of solutions spanning multiple layers of the software stack, ensuring the seamless operation of factory systems.

Join Intel Foundry's Automation Operations group to support factory efficiency and product quality, collaborating with global teams and staying updated on emerging technologies in manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
1+ years of experience in Infrastructure and Platform support.
Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware-related issues effectively.
Foundational knowledge of operating system architecture, configuration, and networking protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide technical troubleshooting and operational support for Factory Automation Platforms/Infrastructure in Intel Foundry's Technology Development Factories.
Perform project work including Automation process and/or product hardening.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex system challenges and optimize manufacturing operations.
Document processes, tools, and solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams.
Provide technical support and implement solutions for distributed enterprise systems spanning global factory operations.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing solutions.
