Job summary

Intel is hiring a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer in Kulim, Malaysia, to analyze factory metrics and drive process improvements for high-volume production. The role involves developing tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing NPI technical support to sustain factory performance.

You will work on manufacturing plans, automation requirements, and strategies to enhance efficiency, with an on-site shift in Malaysia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with up to 1 year hands-on experience (internships ok).
Experience with manufacturing process control and lean methods.
Foundational knowledge of GMP and problem solving.
Ability to analyze data and optimize factory performance.

Responsibilities

Analyze factory metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational enhancements.
Develop and sustain manufacturing decision support tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define manufacturing requirements and optimize processes.
Provide technical support during NPI builds.
Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure operational efficiency and address deficiencies.
Develop manufacturing plans, supply chain strategies, and documentation to enable robust production processes.
Define requirements for automation systems and coordinate their implementation to align with factory goals.
Partner with operations management and stakeholders to solve challenges impacting factory capacity and performance.
Drive system enhancement roadmaps and support the development of factory reporting systems.
