Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee hospital building systems in Georgetown. You will manage operation, maintenance and safety, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, infection control and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities include CAPA investigations, installation and commissioning, renovation projects, and coordinating with contractors and service providers for compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and safety of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, lifts, medical gas, water, biomedical equipment).
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory and infection control standards.
• Maintain maintenance, calibration and service records; manage asset registers.
• Investigate equipment failures and apply CAPA.
• Lead installation, commissioning and disposal of hospital facilities and equipment where applicable.
• Manage renovation, upgrading and expansion projects with contractors.
• Oversee service contracts and monitor vendor performance; handle warranty claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance and safety of building systems, including:
• HVAC systems
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing systems
• Generators
• Lifts
• Medical gas systems
• Water supply systems
• Biomedical equipment
• Monitor facility and equipment performance and ensure compliance with:
• Manufacturer requirements
• Safety requirements
• Environmental and statutory regulations
• Safety standards
• Infection control requirements
• Hospital accreditation requirements
• Maintain and monitor maintenance records, troubleshooting and repair records, calibration records, service reports and asset registers for hospital facilities and equipment.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Oversee the installation, commissioning and disposal of hospital facilities and equipment where applicable.
• Manage facility renovation, upgrading and expansion projects, including project planning, execution and contractor coordination.
• Manage service contracts, monitor vendor performance, handle warranty claims and coordinate with external service providers.
• Review supplier quotations and ensure that suppliers' pricing is fair and competitive.
