Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan FastJob Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facility Management Technician to support day-to-day data centre operations and ensure critical systems remain maintained and operational. You will conduct regular inspections, monitor site operations, and coordinate with M&E maintenance providers.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of data centre facilities experience, strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, HVAC, and fire alarms, and the ability to respond quickly with clear updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in data centre facilities management or operations.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC, power systems and fire alarms.
• Able to respond quickly to issues and provide timely updates and escalation.
• Experience in a large-scale or critical environment is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with a sense of urgency.
• Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are welcome to apply.
• Agile, proactive and able to think out of the box.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical and visual inspections of data centre facilities and equipment.
• Monitor and manage facility operations across assigned data centre sites.
• Coordinate with data centre providers for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) maintenance.
• Review maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to data centre operations.
• Review maintenance documents such as MOP and Risk Assessment (RA).
• Track maintenance activities and manage Change Management requests.
• Provide on-site support during scheduled maintenance and change activities.
• Prepare regular reports and provide updates on ongoing activities.
• Respond to facility-related incidents including power outages, HVAC issues, fire alarms and security concerns.
• Provide after-hours support based on the on-call schedule.

Salary: RM2,300 – RM3,200
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM / 9:00 PM – 9:00
Working Days: 15 days per month

YOUR ROLE

• As a Facility Management Technician (FMT), you'll support the day-to-day facility operations
