Facility Maintenance & Automation Manager

The Facility Maintenance & Automation will oversee daily automation operations and its activity by ensuring the efficiencies, quality and productivity across production manufacturing. This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills and expertise in lean manufacturing to drive operational to excellences and meet customer expectation and perhaps beyond it.

Key responsibilities

To be in-charged of Facilities and Machines Automation.

To ensure human resources, safety and 5S activities implemented in the department.

Responsible and preparing for department planning and budget.

Prepare monthly report to top management.

Coordinate and support other departments pertaining to any renovation / upgrading works.

Plan and implement preventive maintenance programme for building, utility equipment, electrical switchboxes and related equipment.

To identify training needs for subordinates.

Liaise with vendor / contractors in quotation, repairing and maintaining of buildings, facility and utility equipment.

Any other employee may assign by the management to new holder of this job title and the new holder shall be governed by the above-described duties and responsibilities.

Any other duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Planning and Organizing production engineering (PE) & Facilities.

Manage and supervise departmental workforce.

Support and motivate the workforce to achieve higher level of productivity and quality.

To ensure cost effectiveness of maintenance thru process improvement.

To ensure inventory stock of spare parts in updated to date and minimize the variances.

To enhance on 5S, Safety & Health activities at the work place.

Managing and supervising the improvement task and project.

Keep superior inform on daily activities and accomplishment.

Implementing new idea into work area which to ensure positive growth of the department.

To ensure Compliance of Local Law and Customer Social Audits Requirements.

Support and motivate the workforce to achieve higher level of productivity and quality.

About you

Possess BSc / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Automation and Electrical Engineering or equivalent with some knowledgeable in facility and business administration management.

Minimum of 5 years work experiences as Maintenance Manager.

Possess solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical system and etcetera.

Have the applicable knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.

An excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

An outstanding organizational and time management skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Ability to understand Automated Industrial will be an added advantage.
