Job summary

Private Advertiser invites applications for a Senior Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with strong leadership and drawing skills to support projects, installation and commissioning.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in related fields, proficiency in AUTOCAD, and a commitment to ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and 5S programs. You will lead teams and ensure safety and quality standards across maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years working experience in related field.
• Able to work independently and a team player.
• Good leadership, communication, training, planning and organizing skills.
• Knowledge in AUTOCAD or other drawing software and able to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and management.
• Handle and assist in engineering projects, installation and commissioning.
• Ensure equipment or engineering activity is supported with qualification documentation and drawings are maintained.
• Work with the team to develop effective maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors on technical specifications.
• Support and ensure compliance with Safety & Health regulations and company policies.
• Identify training requirements and train operators and technicians.
• Develop leadership and team spirit amongst workers.
• Lead and promote group activities amongst subordinate staff.
• Ensure quality and environmental management systems conform to ISO9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015.
• Implementation and Management of Safety, 5S & ISO standards.
• Follow safety procedures, implement 5S and participate in key programs, and adhere to ISO standards.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
