Job summary

CTRM AeroSystems Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Facility Electrical Engineer to operate the LV/MV electrical systems in a manufacturing setting in Selangor, Malaysia. The role emphasizes reliable power supply, preventive maintenance, and energy efficiency initiatives.

You will monitor energy usage, ensure safety compliance, and document technical information while supporting IoT sensor and smart meter deployments. A degree in electrical engineering and 1 year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in facility, electrical, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic experience in electrical systems (LV/MV), maintenance, and energy management.
• Familiar with electrical safety standards and energy efficiency practices.
• Able to use basic electrical/design or monitoring software (AutoCAD, EMS).

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain facility LV/MV electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable power supply.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and energy losses.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives, including equipment upgrades and load optimization.
• Monitor electrical energy consumption using EMS or dashboards and report abnormalities.
• Track electrical asset performance and recommend improvements to extend equipment lifespan.
• Support implementation of smart technologies (e.g. IoT sensors, smart meters) for monitoring and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and energy regulations.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation such as SLDs, load lists, and maintenance records.
• Support solar PV system monitoring and basic performance analysis.
