Job summary

Ctrm Aerosystems in Malaysia (Selangor) seeks a Facility Electrical Engineer to operate, monitor, and maintain LV/MV electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable power supply within our manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance, energy efficiency initiatives, and support for smart technologies such as IoT sensors and smart meters, with a strong focus on safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year in facility, electrical, or manufacturing environments.
• Foundation in LV/MV electrical systems, maintenance, and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain facility electrical systems (LV/MV) to ensure safe and reliable power supply.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and energy losses.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives, including equipment upgrades and load optimization.
• Monitor electrical energy consumption using EMS or dashboards and report abnormalities.
• Track electrical asset performance and recommend improvements to extend equipment lifespan.
• Support implementation of smart technologies (e.g. IoT sensors, smart meters) for monitoring and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and energy regulations.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation such as SLDs, load lists, and maintenance records.
• Support solar PV system monitoring and basic performance analysis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in facility, electrical, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic experience in electrical systems (LV/MV), maintenance, and energy management.
• Familiar with electrical safety standards and energy efficiency practices.
• Able to use basic electrical/design or monitoring software (e.g. AutoCAD, EMS tools).
