Job summary

FerroTec in Malaysia is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Facility Engineer to support Mandarin-speaking customers. You will oversee building systems, safety, and compliance, and collaborate with maintenance teams to keep our plant facilities running smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or Engineering with 3–5 years of related experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in FM software. Fluency in Malay and English, and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility management or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate maintenance and engineering tasks within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and internal standards.

1. 1. Familiar with plant facility management process and system, have good electrical and mechanical expertise and skills
2. 2. Familiar with plant water, electricity, gas layout, facility specifications and requirements, familiar with industrial gas management, such as natural gas, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, etc.
3. 3. Familiar with the working principle of the factory power facilities, and have experience in the maintenance power facilities
4. 4. Familiar with the working principle of pure water system, waste water system and waste gas system in the factory, and have relevant management experience;
5. 5. Familiar with air compressor system, dust removal system, clean room air conditioning system, familiar with HVAC system
6. 6. At least 3 years of experience in facility engineer, electrician operation certificate, able to train other people
7. 7. Familiar with the EHS requirements and laws and regulations related to the facility
8. 8. Good responsibility and leadership, can speak Malay, English, better can speak Mandarin
9. 9. Working experience in semiconductor industry, automotive industry, precision manufacturing industry is preferred
