Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to arrange and prioritise facility maintenance during shutdowns, ensuring adherence to drawings and method sheets. The role includes driving EH&S culture, providing training to production technicians and ensuring coverage across shifts to keep operations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has a certificate or diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years in manufacturing facility maintenance, with Chargeman A4

Arrange and priorities facility maintenance work for shutdown periods. Comply with and follow drawings, written and verbal instruction and relevant method sheets.
Assist in driving EH&S culture throughout the facility, providing guidance instruction and formal training to production technicians in safe work practices and proper methods and techniques of operation and maintenance of production machines and equipment.
Assist in ensuring there is technical cover within the facility whenever production is running. Cover equipment maintenance shifts during off-shift periods (or when required).
Carry out and co-ordinate routine and non-routine maintenance activities including in-house initiatives and external contractors' job.
Ensure that all routine PM's and repairs follow written procedures to enable consistent standards of work to be achieved.
Be the primary contact for contractors on-site and ensure their jobs conducted as per current EHS regulations.
Adopt GMP as well as workplace safety conduct and assist the plant wide 5S program.
Ensure the maintenance of a spare parts inventory for equipment, with accurate records kept of spare parts on hand. Order parts within established budgets.
Source alternative equipment wherever necessary to ensure the highest level of quality and productivity.
Candidate must possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in relevant facility and maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Chargeman A4 Certification is preferred.
Able to work 12-hour shifts and rotate shifts weekly.
