Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Facility Support professional to manage and optimize operations of our antenna and cable assembly manufacturing facility. The role demands hands-on expertise in HVAC, electrical systems and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable production.

You will lead preventive maintenance, oversee installation projects, supervise service contracts, and collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to meet production

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of facility management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in HVAC, air compressors, CDA piping and electrical/mechanical facility systems.
• Familiar with energy efficiency, sustainability and lean manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production setting.
• Must hold A4 Chargeman certification recognized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Willing to work on rotational shifts (7am - 7pm).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including HVAC, air compressors and building maintenance with safety compliance.
• Provide hands-on support for cooling tower infill, split unit A/C maintenance, CDA piping, compressor piping and new production line setup.
• Supervise infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient operation per Malaysian electrical codes.
• Manage facility installation projects, expansions and upgrades to meet production needs.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and industry standards compliance.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to align facility operations with targets.
• Handle vendor management and oversee service contracts for equipment and utilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain detailed PM records and reports.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Facility Support professional to manage and optimize the operations of our antenna and cable assembly manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure, coupled with strong troubleshooting and compliance capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including HVAC systems (WCPU), air compressors, air dryers, sewage treatment systems, and general building maintenance with work at height compliance.
• Provide hands-on support for:
  • Cooling tower infill services
  • Split unit A/C maintenance
  • Compressed Dry Air (CDA) piping installation
  • A compressor piping
  • New production line setup including electrical wiring
• Supervise the infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient operation in accordance with Malaysian electrical codes.
• Manage and execute facility installation projects, expansions, and upgrades in line with production needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to align facility operations with manufacturing targets.
• Handle vendor management and oversee service contracts for equipment maintenance and utilities.
• Perform routine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
• Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and Preventive Maintenance (PM) records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in antenna, electronics, or cable assembly industries.
• Solid hands-on expertise in:
  • HVAC systems
  • Air compressors
  • CDA piping and A compressor piping
  • Electrical and mechanical facility systems
• Familiar with energy efficiency practices, sustainability initiatives, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production setting.
• To have A4 Chargeman which is recognized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Able to work on rotational shift (7am - 7pm)
