Job summary

Micro-Mechanics Technology Sdn Bhd (182707-X) is seeking a Facilities Engineer to ensure safe, compliant and highly stable facility systems that maximize uptime for maximum machine time. The role covers non-production utility and building systems and involves continuous improvement with internal teams and vendors.

Accountability includes reliability, preventive maintenance, safety compliance and cost-effective vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical, water, lighting, HVAC, compressed air, waste, fire protection and other non-production facility systems.
• Maintain systems safely and reliably; track uptime, failures, alarms and risk.
• Manage preventive maintenance and CMMS; maintain asset records and schedules.
• Represent facilities on 8S committee; support safety inspections and reporting.
• Lead facility service-provider relationships; evaluate vendors on safety, quality and value.
• Track resource use (electricity, water, waste, chemicals) and identify improvements.
