Job summary

Micro-Mechanics is seeking a Facility Engineer to own the reliability of non-machine assets and infrastructure within a high-uptime environment. You will focus on safe, compliant and efficient facility systems, driving continuous improvement and partnering with site leaders and vendors to prevent downtime.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, CMMS management, and strong emphasis on safety and ESG-driven efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining non-production facility systems.
• Ability to track uptime, failures and alarms.
• Capability to coordinate major repairs with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical, water, lighting, HVAC, compressed air, waste, fire protection, security and other non-production facility systems.
• Maintain systems safely and reliably; prioritize root-cause fixes and reduce reactive work.
• Manage preventive maintenance and work control through the CMMS; maintain asset records and service history.
• Represent facilities on the 8S committee; ensure safety inspections and reporting.
• Lead vendor relationships: scopes, quotes, contracts, renewals, site visits and payments.
• Track energy and resource use; identify leaks, losses and cost-saving improvements.
