Job summary

Intel Corporation in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to ensure reliability and maintenance of HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and environmental abatement equipment across manufacturing, clean room, and R&D facilities.

You will design, troubleshoot, perform feasibility studies, and collaborate with operations and business units to deliver engineering solutions and asset roadmaps for facility expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of hands-on facilities mechanical systems experience (HVAC, boilers, chillers, abatement).
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reliability, maintenance, and operation of mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Design and analyze mechanical systems and prepare engineering scopes of work.
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing for new or modified designs.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to implement engineering solutions.
• Partner with operations and maintenance to ensure safety and performance.
