Job summary

Lavender Confectionery & Bakery Sdn Bhd seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician for its Shah Alam F&B factory. You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical and plumbing repairs, door/lock maintenance, and coordinate with suppliers to handle breakdowns.

You will also inspect machinery and manage spare parts inventory. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent, at least 2 years' experience, ability to travel, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Willing to travel and able to work in 2 shifts.
• Able to work independently and present facts in reports.
• Good time management, problem-solving and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance of machinery during non-operational hours.
• Maintain electrical systems; replace light bulbs/sockets; inspect circuit breakers.
• Repair damaged electrical wiring or short circuits as needed.
• Repair plumbing to prevent water damage and restore fixtures.
• Maintain and repair locks, doors, and controllers.
• Coordinate with machinery suppliers for minor and major breakdowns.
• Perform general tasks such as painting and carpentry as assigned.
• Regularly inspect all machinery and equipment in the factory.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and report restock per safety stock levels.

Job description

Facilities Maintenance Technician (Shah Alam, F&B Factory)

Conduct preventive maintenance of machinery at outlet out of business operation time.

Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panel.

Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.

Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.

Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanism, closers, doors and controllers.

Coordinate and support machinery's supplier (minor & major breakdown).

Conduct general tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry and etc.)

Involve in performing regular inspection of all machinery & equipment in factory.

Maintain spare parts inventory transactions and report for restock according to safety stock level.

Required education, knowledges and skills

Candidate must willing to travel

Candidate must be flexible to work in 2 Shifts:

Morning Shift : 8.00am-5.00pm

Afternoon Shift: 2.00pm-11.00pm

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), or equivalent.

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Able to work independently skill and ability to articulate & present facts & report writing skills.

Good time management skills, problem-solving, and management skills.
