Job summary

MTDC is hiring a Facilities & Maintenance Technician for the MTDC Centre. You will perform routine maintenance, support preventive schedules, and coordinate contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires hands-on capability across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. The successful candidate will have a SKM certificate or higher, a diploma or equivalent in building facilities maintenance, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building maintenance and basic repair works (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Experience coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Familiarity with procurement, quotation, and tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of building facilities and infrastructure.
• Carry out minor repair works including electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance.
• Troubleshoot facility-related issues and coordinate rectification works.
• Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and document maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors; ensure works meet specifications and timelines.
• Assist in procurement processes and tracking maintenance budgets and expenses.
• Support MTDC's ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation and audit readiness.
