Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Facility and Maintenance Manager in Malaysia to lead the maintenance team and oversee plant equipment, services, and TPM implementation. You will drive preventive maintenance, spare parts strategy, and cost control while ensuring safety and compliance across facilities.

You should have a strong engineering background, 5+ years in TPM with manufacturing assets, and experience supervising in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a TPM role with plant equipment and asset maintenance.
• Hands-on CNC programming and maintenance experience.
• 1-2 years in supervisory positions in a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, robotic and mechanical systems.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facility and Maintenance Department covering building services and equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot/repair/maintain production machines ensuring safety and reliability.
• Establish and optimize TPM systems for all assets.
• Manage spare parts inventory and annual purchasing; control maintenance costs.
• Coordinate service providers, contractors, and site safety compliance.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and monitor performance metrics.
• Provide training and SOPs for daily maintenance and spot checks.
