Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department, oversee TPM programs and supervise multi-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on CNC programming experience, strong engineering knowledge and a proven track record in a multinational environment. Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, safety compliance and driving continuous improvements across plant facilities and production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in TPM role with plant equipment and maintenance.
• Hands-on CNC programming, maintenance and conversion experience.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience in a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, automation, electrical, pneumatic, robotic and mechanical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Facility and Maintenance Department for building services and equipment maintenance.
• Manage budgets and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee TPM implementation across all equipment and assets.
• Coordinate contractors and service providers for facility operations.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance and regulatory standards.
• Optimize maintenance planning and spare parts inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
