Job summary

Marriott International is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to oversee engineering operations, building maintenance, and asset protection.

You will manage the physical plant, HVAC, electrical systems, water treatment, and energy usage while ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance. This role also involves budgeting, capital projects, and leading emergency response for facility issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in engineering/maintenance; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
• 2-year degree in Building/Construction/Engineering or related major with 1 year experience in engineering/maintenance; same technical training.

Responsibilities

• Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems.
• Ensures regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
• Manages and controls heat, light and power and recommends improvements.
