Job summary

City Properties Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on building maintenance technician responsible for daily M&E operations across the property. You will monitor, operate, and maintain all M&E equipment, perform routine checks, and ensure safety and reliability of utilities.

Responsibilities include repairing light fittings, servicing AHU and plumbing, recording readings, monitoring energy consumption, and addressing tenant requests.

Responsibilities

• Daily routine check on all M&E operations of the building.
• Rectify breakdowns such as M&E, air-conditioning, lightings, lifts and escalators.
• Attend to and resolve tenants’ complaints.
• Organise and change all light fittings.
• Repair and maintain all aspects of maintenance of the building.
• Operate and ensure M&E equipment and spare parts are in good condition.
• Perform weekly cleaning of M&E rooms.
• Insulate lighting to areas without tenant.
• Regular check and operation of equipment.
• Ensure all common lightings are in good condition.
• Ensure plumbing works are repaired and in good condition.
• Troubleshoot operational problems.
• Monitor and record daily consumption.
• Record any works carried out for tenants.
• Record servicing works carried out for all M&E works.
• Record all events and utilities readings.
• Protect all M&E equipment.
• Ensure AHU/lights turn on/off according to schedule.
• Perform all other work as assigned.
