Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking a Facilities Officer to support maintenance and daily operations of its office, warehouse and facilities in Johor Bahru with relocation to Kulai (near JPO). The role offers a base salary up to RM4500 plus variable bonus and standard Monday–Friday hours.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance activities, vendors and contractors, monitoring M&E systems, and ensuring safe, well-maintained facilities. Fresh grads with relevant internships are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, M&E, Facilities Management, Building Management
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in facilities, M&E or building maintenance
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or hands-on experience are welcome
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, fire protection and building maintenance systems
• Experience in warehouse, factory, commercial building, mall or similar environment is an advantage
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Able to coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily facility and building maintenance.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Monitor M&E systems, including electrical, HVAC and fire protection systems.
• Arrange servicing and repairs for equipment and building facilities.
• Monitor building utilities such as electricity, internet and telecommunications.
• Coordinate pest control and other facility-related services.
• Support renovation, upgrading and improvement projects.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance works.
• Follow up on maintenance schedules and ensure work is completed on time.
• Maintain maintenance records, asset lists and service documents.
• Ensure facilities are kept safe, clean and in good working condition.
• Prepare maintenance reports and support other tasks assigned by Management.
