Job summary

Sinergia Talents Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facility Leader to oversee repair and maintenance of plant equipment and assets, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and long-term asset longevity while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

The incumbent will develop maintenance strategies, manage budgets, coordinate with contractors, and drive continuous improvement across facility operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Computer Science) or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with equipment repairs and maintenance, plus 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, technical and non-technical.
• Analytical skills to identify equipment efficiency improvements.
• Proficiency in budget management, planning, and scheduling maintenance activities.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Facility strategy to ensure longevity of assets and proper functioning of equipment.
• Supervise and lead a team of Facility technicians, engineers, and staff, including recruitment and performance management.
• Oversee repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of equipment; coordinate with external contractors and suppliers.
• Develop and manage Facility budget; allocate resources and monitor costs.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, machinery, and spare parts; ensure readiness.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate activities to minimize disruption.
• Ensure Facility activities adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe environment.
• Maintain maintenance records and reports for audits.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings (CSP).
• Support Sustainability and Compliance to DOSH, DOE, OSHA and fire department requirements.
• Manage building CAPEX projects.
