Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design, develop, and sustain industrial instrumentation and automation systems supporting facilities, manufacturing, and labs.

You will troubleshoot and optimize existing systems, create new control solutions, and work on Building Monitoring System, PLCs, valves, and sensors to improve reliability and efficiency. This on-site role is based in Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2–5 years’ hands-on experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiar with instrumentation sensors and industrial automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain industrial instrumentation systems for facilities operations.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and program analytical instrumentation for optimal performance.
• Develop and modify control systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Perform root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support procurement and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and provide technical consultancy.
