Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific seeks a Business Unit Leader (Facilities Management) in Batu Kawan, Penang, to lead end-to-end FM delivery across multi-site client accounts. You will drive operational excellence, growth, and client satisfaction while ensuring compliance and QHSE standards.

The role requires 8–12 years in Facilities Management, strong leadership, and experience in people management, contract delivery, and financial stewardship. English and Bahasa Melayu proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Facilities Management preferred, combination considered.
• 8–12 years progressive FM experience with multi-site or multi-client exposure.
• Proven people management, staffing, training, coaching, and retention.
• Strong communication skills, ability to handle sensitive info and set expectations.
• Leadership to drive performance across teams, sites or functions, with impact on operations and finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FM delivery across multiple sites and client accounts.
• Develop and execute business and sales strategies for growth.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and financial metrics to meet targets.
• Lead Business Unit reviews with data-driven insights and accountability.
• Foster governance, quality, compliance (QHSE) and continuous improvement.
• Oversee vendor management and procurement collaboration to optimise cost.
