Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations and manage FM service providers. You will lead a team of technicians, drive preventive and corrective maintenance, and partner with internal stakeholders to meet SLAs while maintaining strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• 3–5 years’ experience in Facility Management.
• Strong technical knowledge of facilities systems.
• Contract and vendor management expertise.
• Good understanding of EHS and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills (preferred).
• Budget and cost management capability (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CePSTPO certification would be a plus.
• Registered energy manager-type 1 would be a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and FM service provider performance.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, utilities).
• Ensure all critical systems operate with minimal downtime and review maintenance plans.
• Monitor work orders, service requests, and SLA compliance.
• Manage FM contract scope, deliverables, and KPIs/SLA; monitor budget.
• Conduct safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture across operations.
