Anton Paar GmbH in Shah Alam is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related maintenance, safety, and compliance. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, schedule routine maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with internal teams. You will help develop budgets, monitor energy usage, and drive continuous improvement in facility operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or facilities management.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to identify problems quickly and implement solutions.
• Hands-on maintenance skills.
• Strong communication with internal teams and contractors.
• Experience in facilities management or building operations.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security and mechanical systems.
• Developing and implementing schedules for routine maintenance to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.
• Carrying out minor repairs, upgrades, maintenance.
• Managing day-to-day operations of facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
• Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions and building system issues promptly.
• Identify opportunities for energy savings and implement energy-efficient solutions.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors for maintenance tasks or project work.
• Assist in preparing the facility maintenance budget and manage costs for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure that all systems comply with health, safety, and environmental standards; conduct safety inspections and prepare SOPs.
• Manage tenant requirements and all tasks related to leasing a premise.
• Manage facility-related projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and regulatory checks; generate reports for management.
• Oversee office layouts, space planning, and modifications as needed.
• Develop and implement emergency response protocols for incidents like fire, flooding, or power outages.
