Job summary

Ichia Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Facilities Engineer to manage and maintain factory facilities, utilities and building systems to ensure smooth operations.

You will monitor electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, water supply and exhaust, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Collaborating with Production, Engineering and EHS, you will coordinate with contractors, track maintenance records and ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related to facilities.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of factory utilities including electrical, HVAC, water systems and exhaust systems.
• Familiarity with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain factory facilities, utilities, and building systems.
• Monitor electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, water supply, exhaust, and facility equipment.
• Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot facility breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance works.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support factory expansion and facility improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, EHS and other departments on facility requirements.
