Job summary
LINKTEL TECHNOLOGIES SDN.BHD. seeks a seasoned facilities engineer to lead electrical system operations and maintenance across a manufacturing/industrial setting in Penang.
You will manage distribution networks, switchgear, and control panels while driving preventive/corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance reliability. The role also covers budgeting, safety, and energy efficiency initiatives, with oversight of HVAC, plumbing, BMS, and fire protection systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facility Management or related field (Master’s a plus).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in plant facilities, including experience as an A4/BO Chargeman.
- 5+ years of facility engineering/maintenance management experience, with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Familiar with electrical regulations and installation.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, and control panels.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor electrical system performance and recommend upgrades for efficiency.
- Oversee maintenance, inspection and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and fire protection.
