Job summary

Cofreth (M) Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to implement and enforce SOPs, ISO standards, and industry best practices for efficient site operations in Malaysia. You will develop a preventive maintenance program and lifecycle planning while ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least five years in facilities management for large facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in facilities management or maintenance of high-rise buildings, malls, or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce SOPs, ISO standards and best practices for efficient site operations.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive facility management program including preventive maintenance and life-cycle planning.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain proper documentation for health, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee essential facility services such as security, cleaning, food court operations and waste management.
• Support planning and execution of special projects and reporting on progress.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
• Liaise with clients on project progress, attend meetings, analyze data and prepare reports.
• Strive to meet and exceed KPIs.

This role involves implementing and enforcing House Rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO standards and industry best practices to ensure efficient site operations. You will develop and execute a comprehensive facility management program, including preventive maintenance and life-cycle planning.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive facility management program, including preventive maintenance and life-cycle planning

Conduct regular facility inspections, maintain proper documentation and ensure full compliance with health, safety and industry regulations

Oversee and manage essential facility services such as security, cleaning, food court operations and waste management

Support the planning and execution of special projects (e.g., defect rectification), including implementation and reporting

Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns, ensuring all issues are addressed with professionalism and care

Liaise with clients on project progress, including attending meetings and queries, analysis of data and documentation and preparation of reports

Consistently strive to meet and exceed established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

About you

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)

Minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management or maintenance of high-rise buildings, shopping malls, or industrial facilities

Excellent oral, writing and presentation skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Hardworking and results-oriented

Professional Engineers (PE), postgraduate degree, or other relevant certifications are an added advantage
