Cofreth (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior Engineer – Facilities Management to join our energy services team in Malaysia. The role focuses on commissioning, site assessments, data collection, and reporting to support green building certification and energy projects.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Registered Energy Manager (REM) Type 1 & 2 or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in energy management, including energy audits, green building projects (GBI/LEED or equivalent), commissioning, and Energy Performance Contracting (EPC).
Experience in project management, energy consulting, or consultancy firms will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as effectively in a team.
Credit in English and Mathematics is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:Perform and support commissioning activities as part of the Commissioning Team, including site inspections, data collection, verification, documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with applicable Green Building Certification requirements.
Liaise closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders on project progress, technical matters, meetings, queries, data analysis, documentation and reporting.
Conduct site visits, field assessments and energy audits, including data collection, analysis, identification of energy-saving opportunities and preparation of technical reports and recommendations.
Support the implementation of energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) initiatives, including technical assessments, feasibility studies and performance evaluations.
Conduct research and development (R&D) on emerging energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies, solutions and industry practices in both domestic and international markets.
Assist in the development and implementation of energy management systems and energy conservation programmes within the organization.
Support the implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Systems (EnMS).
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of energy management and energy performance monitoring systems, including data collection, tracking, analysis and reporting.
Contribute actively to company initiatives, projects, training and other organizational activities as required.
Attend project sites, meetings or perform work outside normal office hours when required to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
