Job summary

STMicroelectronics seeks a General Service Engineer to oversee CAPEX projects, facilities, utilities, and general services infrastructure. You will ensure safe, on-time, on-budget execution while meeting company standards and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, monitor progress, manage budgets, and contribute to continuous process improvements with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or facilities-related field required.
• 3–7 years of experience in general services, facilities engineering, CAPEX project coordination, or project monitoring.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or corporate facilities environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CAPEX projects related to General Services and facility improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and vendors to meet milestones.
• Review plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets for projects.
• Track progress, risks, issues, and corrective actions.
• Support site surveys, feasibility studies, and scope definition for CAPEX initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and engineering standards during execution.
• Participate in contractor selection, technical evaluation, and meetings.
• Verify work completion, punch lists, and handover documentation.
• Support cost control by tracking commitments, variations, and expenditures.
• Prepare regular project status reports and escalate critical issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations to minimize disruption.
