Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia seeks a General Service Engineer to support CAPEX projects and oversee facilities maintenance across offices, labs, and common areas. You will ensure timely maintenance, safety, hygiene, and cost control while addressing service requests from ST employees.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field as stated.
• 3–7 years of experience in general services or facilities projects.
• Experience in industrial or corporate facilities environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CAPEX projects related to General Services and facility improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to meet milestones.
• Review plans, schedules, budgets, and technical specs.
• Track progress, risks, issues, and corrective actions.
• Support site surveys and scope definition for new CAPEX initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, quality and standards.
• Assist in contractor selection, evaluations, and progress meetings.
• Verify work completion, punch lists, and handover docs.
• Support cost control by tracking commitments and final expenditures.
• Prepare project status reports and escalate critical issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations to minimize disruption.
