Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Curtain Wall Engineer to oversee façade projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field and at least 8 years of curtain wall experience, with involvement in major projects above RM10 million.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized façades, and hands-on Rhino 3D modelling. English proficiency is required; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Construction, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in curtain wall engineering.
• Solid involvement in major projects is preferred (5–6 years also encouraged).
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, including unitized façades.
• Hands-on experience with Rhino or other 3D modelling software.
• Good command of English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Involvement in at least two large-scale public building curtain wall projects with contract value exceeding RM10 million.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical execution of façade and curtain wall projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Review and evaluate curtain wall shop drawings, providing technical solutions and design improvements.
• Develop façade design proposals, construction methods, and engineering design modifications.
• Deliver technical guidance and project briefings to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Work closely with clients, architects, consultants, and main contractors during technical discussions and project coordination.
