Job summary

Synergy Staffing is seeking an experienced Curtain Wall Engineer to lead façade projects in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. You will oversee technical management, review shop drawings, and drive design optimization across unitized façade systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in curtain wall engineering, strong knowledge of industry standards, proficiency in Rhino, and fluent English (BM a plus). You will collaborate with clients, architects, and main contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in relevant engineering discipline.
• 8+ years as Curtain Wall Engineer with unitized façade systems.
• Proficient in Rhino or equivalent 3D modeling software.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is a plus.
• Experience on two large-scale curtain wall projects with contract value > RM10 million.
• Knowledge of industry standards; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical management of façade and curtain wall projects in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Review curtain wall shop drawings and advise on design optimization.
• Prepare façade design plans, construction methodologies, design changes, and briefings throughout project execution.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, architects, and main contractors.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Mechanical Design, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of dedicated experience as a Curtain Wall Engineer, with strong knowledge of various curtain wall systems, including unitized façade systems.
• Proficient in Rhino or other 3D modeling software. Candidates with experience leading complex or irregular-shaped façade projects will have an added advantage.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
• Must have participated throughout the full project lifecycle of at least two large-scale public building curtain wall projects with a contract value exceeding RM10 million.
• Familiar with relevant industry standards and regulations, with excellent communication, site coordination, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.

• Lead the technical management of façade and curtain wall projects in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
