Job summary

Din Tai Fung Malaysia is seeking a proactive F&B QA Auditor to support quality assurance and operational excellence across our restaurant outlets. You will conduct regular audits to ensure food quality, hygiene and safety, identify gaps, and drive improvements.

Collaborating with Restaurant Managers and Operations teams, you will coach staff to uphold SOPs, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory standards while traveling regularly to different outlets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field (Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Quality Management).
• 2–3 years in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, F&B operations or auditing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular outlet audits to ensure SOPs, quality, hygiene, cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Identify non-conformities, gaps and areas for improvement.
• Coach Restaurant Managers and Operations teams to improve performance and compliance.
• Provide on-site guidance and training to uphold company standards.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented F&B QA Auditor to support quality assurance and operational excellence across our restaurant outlets.

You will play an important role in ensuring consistent food quality, cleanliness, food safety and operational standards through regular outlet audits, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

1. Multi-Outlet Auditing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular outlet audits to ensure compliance with company SOPs, food quality, hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Identify non-conformities, operational gaps and areas for improvement.

2. Operational Excellence & Coaching

• Work closely with Restaurant Managers and Operations teams to improve outlet performance and compliance.
• Provide on-site guidance and coaching to strengthen employees' understanding of company standards.
• Monitor corrective actions to ensure effective implementation.

3. Food Safety HACCP Management

• Monitor food safety practices and compliance across outlets.
• Investigate food safety-related complaints and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

• Monitor compliance with relevant food safety regulations and company requirements.
• Identify potential operational risks and recommend preventive measures.
• Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.

5. Audit Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare audit reports and analyse outlet performance trends.
• Track corrective action progress and highlight recurring issues.
• Recommend improvement initiatives to enhance operational standards across outlets.

Requirement

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, F&B Operations or auditing.
• Experience in multi-outlet restaurant operations will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety practices and relevant regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and report-writing skills.
• Proactive, independent and detail-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel regularly to different restaurant outlets.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
