Job summary

The George Penang in George Town, Malaysia is seeking friendly, service-oriented staff to join our restaurant team as waiters. You will deliver food from kitchen to guests with accuracy and timeliness, and help with table setup and welcoming guests according to our standards.

You will anticipate guest needs, respond to requests urgently, stock service items, and assist with simple food and beverage preparation, all while working harmoniously with colleagues to ensure an exceptional dining

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, glass and silver for service.
• Greet guests according to our Restaurant’s standards to ensure superior service.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in stocking linens, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of simple food items and beverages.
• Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
