LEGOLAND PARKS Malaysia in Iskandar Puteri invites applicants for the F&B Assistant role to serve food and beverages in our restaurant efficiently and courteously, ensuring timely preparation and a friendly guest experience while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires a high school graduate, at least 1 year in a Food & Beverage outlet or completion of a trade apprenticeship, and a basic food hygiene course.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Food & Beverage outlet or completed trade apprenticeship/internship.
• Proof of completion in a basic food hygiene course.
• Ability to multitask in a high-standard environment and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Serve and clear Food & Beverage offerings in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Maintain high service standards with children as a primary focus.
• Collaborate with team to provide a positive guest experience.
• Upsell in-house products and explain menu offerings to guests.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Keep tables clean, reset and present products attractively.

The role as F&B Assistant is responsible for serving food and beverages in restaurant efficiently and in a most courteous manner. Carry out all duties in accordance with tasks and descriptions with reference to established rule s and policies. To provide a friendly and efficient service to all the guest by presenting a positive and professional attitude at all times. Processing their requests and orders to ensure all items are prepared properly on a timely basis. To also have a thorough working knowledge of the LEGOLAND safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Must understand and meet all guest expectations and have the ability to communicate.
• Must maintain high service standards with children as a primary focus.
• Needs to serve all guests in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Needs to work with other team members to provide a positive guest experience.
• Be well versed with all Food & Beverage Offerings in the outlet and be also confidently discuss other F&B areas with guests
• Serve and clear Food & Beverage Offerings in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
• Clears trays, plates, cutleries and cups and reset table in a professional manner.
• To up sell the In House product by suggesting it to the guest
• Must have working knowledge of product specifications on the cooks' line.
• Be aware of the value of high quality, fresh food products.
• Ability to effectively display and prepare a high quality product for the guest.
• Maintain proper taste, temperature, and appearance of all food items.

Background and Experience

• Graduates of high school or other equivalent levels of education.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in Food & Beverage outlet or completion of trade apprenticeship/internship.
• Proof of completion in a basic food hygiene course.
• Experience multi-tasking and working in an environment with rigorous standards.
• Proven ability to work with a team and to follow instruction.
