Job summary

PUSPAKOM SDN BHD is seeking a safety, security and environmental (SSHE) professional to plan, execute and monitor monthly SSHE activities across all branches, mobile units and sites. The role includes inspections, incident reporting and investigation, and coordinating PPE management.

You will develop and maintain SOPs, WI, guidelines and risk assessments (HIRARC), support security (SG/CIT) management, and run SSHE training and awareness for staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education in related safety/security/engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year in health, safety, security & environment is advantageous.
• Experience via Protege programmes, internships, trainee programmes or entry-level roles encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and update monthly SSHE activities across all branches and locations.
• Perform SSHE workplace inspections at branches and mobile units.
• Deliver SSHE awareness training to staff and contractors.
• Manage SSHE incident reporting, investigation and follow-up.
• Develop, review and update SOPs, WI, guidelines and risk assessments (HIRARC).
• Oversee Security Guard and Cash In Transit management and related admin.
• Plan SSHE monitoring such as noise, chemical exposure, medical surveillance and IAQ.
• Plan and implement ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management System.
• Coordinate PPE management including procurement, delivery and stock control.

Job description

Plan, execute and update monthly SSHE activities throughout the organisation.

Perform SSHE workplace inspection at all PUSPAKOM branch, mobile unit and other business location.

Perform SSHE awareness training (staff induction, awareness to staff, briefing to contractor and other related training).

Perform SSHE related accident reporting, investigation and report investigation.

Prepare, review and update SSHE Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instruction (WI), Guidelines, Risk Assessment (HIRARC) and others related document.

Perform Security Guard (SG) and Cash In Transit (CIT) management (review attendance, credit note, invoice, issue related to security performance and other).

Plan and execute of SSHE related monitoring (eg. : Excessive Noise Identification, Noise Risk Assessment, Audiometric, Chemical Health Risk Assessment, Chemical Exposure Monitoring, Medical Surveillance, Indoor Air Quality, Boundary Noise Monitoring and others).

Plan and execute ISO 39001:2012 Road Traffic Safety Management System.

Plan and execute SSHE related program / campaign.

Plan and execute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) management (plan, purchasing, delivering, stock control and counting, good transfer note issuance).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education : Degree in related to Occupational Safety and Health / Security Management / Engineering or others related disciplines.

Experience :

Minimum 1 year in health, safety, security & environmental is advantage.

Experience gained through Protege programmes, internships, trainee programmes or entry-level roles are encouraged to apply and grow with us.

Others :

Posses a valid driving license and be competent in driving a car.

Able to travel and undertake outstation assignments (minimum one week per month, depending on operational needs).

Certified Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C) or Qualified Scheduled Waste Manager is advantage.
