Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an organized Administrative Clerk to perform checks on CDS and trading account opening forms, key in data into CDS and SVS, and maintain records. You will support routine updates and end-of-day reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
The role requires a Diploma in Business/Finance/Administration or equivalent, with at least 1 year of clerical experience.
Perform initial checks on incoming client Central Depository System (CDS) and trading account opening forms for document completeness and clarity.
Key in account data accurately into Bursa Malaysia Depository (CDS), Signature Verification System (SVS), and internal systems (WinOPS and NBOS).
Process routine account updates, openings, closures, and reactivations for client CDS and trading accounts (including E-broking and Share Direct).
Match client specimen signatures against system records during account maintenance or closure updates.
Support the day-end reconciliation of counter CDS fees.
Retrieve and print stock balance statements for authorized clients and remisiers upon request.
Scan signature cards and upload signatory details into the SVS database.
File and maintain physical and digital records of account forms, identification attachments, and operational request forms.
Carry out routine administrative and operational tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Possess Diploma in Business, Finance, Administration, or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative experience (preferably in stockbroking, banking, or financial services). Fresh Diploma holders are welcome; on-the-job training will be provided.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; good data entry accuracy; strong attention to detail; and basic communication skills.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
